It was fun and informative to participate in the bamboo container workshop sponsored by Sogetsu San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. I love this big, fresh bamboo—four inches in diameter. My skinny-stem sunflowers and hydrangeas are perfect for this design because they’re lightweight.
