Summer Breeze

It was displayed at Filoli Flower Show in Woodside. You need to come up with a title six months earlier than the event. I submitted it as “Sumemr Breeze,” something broad so that I don’t have to be constrained by the availability of materials. My entry was placed in the kitchen of Fioli’s main house along with a half dozen Ikebana arrangements.

Materials: Calla lilies, Oakleaf Hydrangea (Snow Queen), Philadelphus (Belle Etoile), Kangaroo Paw (Bush Gold), Flax (Yellow Wave), Curly willow, Cordyline (Electric Flash), Mexican Feather Grass, Red Bunny Tails, Broom Fern, Cape Rush
